New goodies

I managed to find a few spare minutes this week to get some new packs of goodies up, and re-release a happy little holiday pack in My store. Just in time for some good Christmassy creating!

We are still going a hundred miles an hour here as we continue packing and preparing for our move coming up, man, a family of 5 can seriously accumulate too much "stuff" living in the same place for 6 years and having unexpected career developments, a little one with some super sensory/anxiety troubles, and just the ins and outs and adventures of "Life" to stand in the way of regular organizing and purging.
I Love that the end of this adventure means a fresh new beginning for us in a beautiful happy yellow house, and a lot of better solutions for keeping things simplified and in order, but I do have to admit that the journey is definitely wearing on us at the moment. Like Dory the fish says " Just keep swimming..."
Got to keep on keeping on for now!!!
( said with fist pump and as much positive "Go Go" energy as I have in me)

Peace

More Fun with Hamby

My Natural Beauty; Tiara... this kid has that extra sparkle that just comes right from her heart. This page has flowers made from my pencil sharpenings, and visual "flow" directed with strips of torn fabric and the awesome little hambly kraft sticker strips. This background was just the perfect amount of silver dandilions to give me plenty of room for doodly writing and showing off Tia's sweet face while still leaving me the white space I like to have so my eyes can rest......too much info from my design brain there probably but that's how it goes!

Created on the Hambly Kraft paper with silver dandilions, little transparent flowers made from overlays cut up, and lots of the cute hambly stickers on here

"I Love My Life" using hambly background papers and all sorts of Kraft cardstock stickers and bits, and of course a bunch of messy happy paint!

These are my Button flowers made from Kraft journaling spots

And my journaling surrounded with all of the lovely bits!

Didn't they tell you?

It's ALL about the Dress!!!

This is a layout for My playtime as hambly's November guest DT girl...TONS of fun!!!
The background is just a piece of cardboard that was on my table with some of it's top paper ripped off; I Love the contrast of the pretty lace and design bits that I chose to tell this story and the rough rugeddness of the cardboard- the fact that it kind of doesn't belong is what makes me Love it! I must have used this as apalette at some point cuz it was partially covered with this great drippy thick blotchy white paint which gave me a perfect starting place!

You can check out my Gallery over at the Hambly blog for a few more peeks as I play this month!

Enjoy the Journey

a page in my Random Art Journal.
"Tick-Tock goes the clock, time keeps tickin' keeps on tick-tockin'...the time is now; Enjoy The Journey!"
I don't think there has ever been a season in my life where this doesn't speak to me. No matter the circumstances , no matter how crazy busy or upside down things can get I try so very hard to remember that if I can enjoy the journey and just take the ride through life with as much joy as possible then Every day is a gift, every day holds something I can learn and though they pass to quickly I can know that I held on to the moments with as much gratitude as I could muster.
I wish the same to you my friends.
Background page is a mixture of different inks and pencils on plain cardstock, and my clock is created with blue wire, sewing clasps and a snap, jute string for the centre and the rest is pretty self-explanatory...a mish mash of whatever was speaking to me.

Enjoy the Journey,
CD
