The last ice cream run of the summer!
We all headed out for burgers and ice cream at the Half moon drive in. One last summer outing like that. Needless to say it was really nice to be all together and thourally enjoyed by all! We walked down by the water with our ice creams while the sun was going down , the girls danced and little Kaiella was shouting " Ocean, Ocean!!!!" as she pointed at the lake. LOL!
ETA: we were delighted to find this new soft serve called Dole whip it is dairy free and made with real fruit so Tiara could actually join in having a cone like the rest of us!!!
It has started cooling off fast in the evening , but still getting some pretty hot days here lucky for us! The girls are loving school and little Bella is settling in to her new mornings with just me. I too am getting used to appreciating that quieter time just the two of us.
I have been trying to get everything done that I need to, and start thinking about preparing for our trip to Vegas in October! I still can't believe we are going, and totally can't believe that it is with CK to boot! What a dream! So here is what I am thinking, since Cam and I are trying to decide what to plan for the two extra days we will be there and have no clue where to start, I am asking for your help! Any suggestions? Leave us some comments and tell us what we should see, ok! That should give us a starting place anyways. Thanks :)

I love Vegas! I live in Arizona, so I can just drive to get there. I am not a gambler, I really enjoy just walking in all the different casinos seeing their 'theme' decor and just taking in all the details in the buildings. I love eatting at Delmonicos, Emeril's restaurant. I go for lunch so it is more affordable and last time I ate at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill. I did not like it as much as Delmonicos. I also LOVE going to the Big Apple Bar in the New York, New York Casino. I have the Appletini and they usually have a great band performing. Also, there is another bar in New York, New York that has a dual piano and that was fun also. You are going to have such a great time....enjoy it! :-)
Make sure and eat at the Bellagio
buffet for lunch or dinner--the best!
If you're taking the kids to Vegas, the MGM Grand has lions to watch- my girl LOVED it. The Bellagio is my favorite- gorgeous decor and they have an atrium area that is way cool. There are pirate shows at one casino (I can't remember the name) and tons of other stuff. Check online. Good luck with CK- my votes for you.
Well YOU just made my day! Dole whip was one of my favorite treats about twenty years ago! We would get it often because my Mom can't have dairy- then they stopped carrying it where we lived, and I never saw it again.
Hopefully I'll run in to it again some day :-)

hey CD i posted on your peas email about your beautiful ,ive never liked digital layouts because ive never seen one that look real ,i looked in on your digi layout s and you had me ,i would have never known all of the ones i was looking at were digi .im impressed ,youve sold the concept of digital .the looks are made to be adjusted to/as using paper great jobs ,great taste
