meal planning

It worked!
Laundry/shopping day was a RAD success.
Me and Bella are awesome!!!
We even managed to have the time to get a buncha backgrounds made as I was hoping...whoot whoot.
I have been slacking on meal planning for the last while, but we shopped properly and the week's menu is looking pretty good.

-lasagna, salad, and garlic bread
-Cam's AMAZING slow cooker roast
-farmer sausage and princess pasta Alfredo
-Stir fried chicken with veggies and fried rice
-hash brown casserole and a Ham
and for the busy/lazy nights we have
-Taco salad, (the super duper ever delish-child pleasing- all inclusive meal)
- and really good chicken fingers with pea soup

anyone have any really good easy recipes, specifically slow cooker recipes?
Please share 'em, we'd love that!

OK, it's boogie time, Gonna spend a few hours working into the night tonight and get way too little sleep, but I'm feelin' it and I've got to go with that when the inspiration strikes me.
ciao for now folks ;)

I am a specialist of quick meals lol!
for example, I carve big tomatoes and I stuff them with a mix of meat and ricotta with herbs ( that you previously cooked). You put this in the oven with the rest of the tomatoes around and rice.

Hi CD,
I just found your blog through the art journalling forum...your work and the work you inspire in others is brilliant. Thanks for sharing.

Anyway, my favourite crock pot trick is to cook a whole chicken (stuff the cavity with lemons) and then drizzle some olive oil, salt and pepper on top. Squeeze another lemon and put the squeezed halves into the pot as well. Turn it on and wait for lemony chicken goodness! I usually cook foil wrapped potatoes (prepared at breakfast time...just wash and chop the spuds and sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper, wrap in foil and put in the oven with the timer set to have them cooked at dinner time) and make a quick green salad. I use the leftover chicken in a rice or couscous pilaf the next day.
